Genacross Lutheran Services Fundraiser

While many people know about the accomplishments of Jim Tressel, former Head Football Coach at The Ohio State University, attendees will have the opportunity to hear behind-the-scenes stories about coaching a top-ranked football team, proven ways to motivate others, and the importance of giving back.

5:30 p.m. - Registration and cocktails

6 p.m. – Dinner and program

Tickets are $150 each.

James Starks, anchor of 13abc Action News Good Morning, will ask the important questions and lead the evening's Q&A of Coach Tressel.

Attendees will also hear the inspiring success story of Steven Brinkman, a graduate of the Genacross Family & Youth Services group home program.

He will talk about his time spent in care, as well as how Genacross continues to help youth from disadvantaged backgrounds break cycles of abuse and change their futures in positive ways.

There will be other surprise speakers taking the stage. It promises to be an informative and fun evening.

Proceeds will benefit Genacross Lutheran Services, a local nonprofit serving northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan for over 160 years.

Genacross ministries provide a multitude of services, which include group homes for at-risk youth, housing for low-income seniors, and traditional retirement living communities.

Each year, Genacross gives away $3 million of free care to individuals in need.
